CASTOR OIL (RICINUS COMMUNIS)
The Castor oil in our products is of a high quality as it is extracted through the process of cold pressing; the oil is normally clear to pale yellow in colour and has a consistency similar to that of honey. Castor oil is well known for its use on hair offering deep conditioning benefits and it is considered helpful to make the hair thicker, treat dandruff and itchy scalp conditions and promote hair growth Castor Oil is rich in essential fatty acids and is used for hair nourishing and hydration. It has a honey-like texture, which is thick and moisturising for all hair types. The Oil is widely used to strengthen dry hair and can help improve shine, prevent split ends and promote hair growth. It is thought that applying Castor Oil to hair on a regular basis may help restore keratin and improve hair growth. Combined with other oils it is known to have even more hugely positive properties for improving hair growth and condition. History and Origin: Castor Oil has reportedly been used in compresses intended to treat a range of afflictions from hair loss and scalp problems to lumbago and rheumatism . Arguably first used in the time of the Ancient Egyptians as seeds were found in Egyptian tombs so many think it was used by kings, queens and royalty to maintain natural hair growth, strengthen hair and even as a nourishing facial oil.

ALMOND OIL (PRUNUS DULCIS)

OLIVE OIL (OLEA EUROPAEA)

FLAXSEED OIL (LINUM USITATISSIMUM)
Flaxseed/Linseed oil is high in Omega-3 , rich in vitamin E and minerals which are beneficial to maintain strong healthy hair Flaxseed Oil also contains Omega-6 and Omega-9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fibre, protein and zinc. It also provides approximately 50% more omega-3 oils than what you may get from using fish oil.There are huge benefits in using flaxseed oil for hair such as improving its strength and shine. The vital linoelic acid is concentrated even further in the cold pressed flaxseed oil which is what we use in our Luxury Hair Oil. History and Origins - Linum usitatissimum is a widely cultivated plant native to an area from the eastern Mediterranean to India. and the high levels of an essential fatty acid, linolenic acid makes it a fabulous nourishing and strengthening addition to any blended oil for hair.
